SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS/ACCESSIBLE PARKING
Please contact the First-Year Family Weekend staff at firstname.lastname@example.org or 607-253-4282 for disability accommodations such as sign language interpreters, c-print captioning, and print materials in alternate formats. To ensure that accommodation requests can be met, please provide two week’s advance notice. Information regarding campus accessibility can be found at accessibility.cornell.edu.
Those with accessible parking license plates/placards from their home municipality can utilize any accessible parking spaces on campus throughout the weekend. Please note that accessible placards can only be used in spaces marked for accessibility; they cannot be used in spaces marked as "reserved."
PARKING AND CAMPUS BUS SERVICE
Families may park on North Campus on Friday without a parking permit. On Saturday and Sunday, you may park anywhere on campus without a permit, provided that all posted parking restrictions are observed (no parking in fire lanes or handicapped parking, and all other special limitations/requirements must be followed). Parking is not permitted on the grass or any non-parking areas during this weekend. Though you were able to drive up to the residence halls during move-in day, you are no longer permitted to drive on the sidewalks and up to residence halls – please park appropriately and carry items to the halls as needed.
